Met at Geneseo, Illinois,

4:00 p.m., May 3, 1998

The meeting convened with Joseph F. Smith, George Rawlins, Dwight Deitrick, Peter Gould, Leroy (Buddy) Ormsbee, and Wayne Bartrow all in attendance - Jack Evans, William Whenham, and Gary Wheeler were unable to attend.

Peter Gould offered the opening prayer. Joseph Smith called the meeting to order as chairman. The minutes of the previous committee meeting (April 5, 1998) were approved, with name spelling corrections. Joseph then opened the meeting for discussion on the schedule for our reunion. Assorted discussion followed, with the following schedule being agreed upon:

Saturday Schedule:

Supper - 5:00pm - 6:30pm

Song Service - 6:30pm - 7:00pm

Welcome & Greeting - 7:00pm - 09:00pm (rules & information & appointment of groundskeeper)

Campfire - 9:00pm - 9:45pm

Sunday Schedule:

Devotional - 7:00 am - 7:15am

Breakfast - 7:30am - 9:00am

Prayer & Testimony - 9:00am - 10:45am

Preaching (Worship) - 11:00am - 12:00pm

Lunch & Quiet-time - 12:15pm - 02:15pm

Discussion - 2:15pm - 3:30pm

Free Time - 3:30pm - 5:00pm

Supper - 5:00pm - 6:30pm

Song Service - 7:00pm - 7:30pm

Preaching (Worship) - 7:30pm - 8:30pm

Campfire, etc. - 9:00pm - 10:00 p.m.

Monday through Friday Schedule:

Devotional - 7:00am - 7:15am

Breakfast - 7:30am - 8:30am

Prayer & Testimony - 9:00am - 10:30am

Cleanup and move out. Breakfast served.

Additionally, the following assignments were made:

Dwight Deitrick - to select speakers for the reunion.

Bill Whenham - to select ministry to be in charge of prayer services for the reunion.

Paula Lord - to be in charge or arrange others to take charge of song services.

Mark Deitrick - to coordinate youth activities

Wayne Bartrow - to select ministry to be in charge of preaching/worship services.

Dwight expressed concern that we need to emphasize to anyone whom we know is coming, that they submit the form which has been printed in the newsletter. It was also suggested that if there are any speakers, which we know of whom we would like to suggest for these preaching/worship services, we need to submit these suggestions to Dwight. The meeting was closed with prayer.
